Ever since I got a looping pedal, I have sat with my guitar and meditated to a loop, letting the loop build around me. I have saved many of these loops, thinking that they might come in handy in the future.
Now that I have my new computer and the internet capacity to upload videos and songs relatively easily, I’d like to share them with you!

For the past ten or so years I have had the practice of playing my guitar through a looper and then layering loops for a long meditation. Thinking that I was coming up with some pretty good stuff, I began to record the finished meditations into my computer.
Now, I’ve figured out a way to share them with you!!
This has just gotten too silly. Too many of my close friends have either never heard of my 2009 EP Mixed Vice Work, or, upon hearing it, think that it is new music.

I made this video as a playful way to say that every place is sacred. While I am very uncomfortable in consumer spaces like Kmart, it is exactly those spaces that I need to reach deeper, be aware, and remember to play. Sitting in silent Quaker worship is one way to ground a space and ones’ self.
